Do you have a source for your edit to the 'Sassanid Empire#Sassanid Empire chronology' section of the 'Sassanid Empire' article? You said that the last Sassanid ruler was beheaded, not murdered. It would be helpful to have some verification, thanks. WinterSpw (talk) 16:34, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, but what do you mean by "the usage on Wikipedia editing is complicated"? You should take a look at my userpage, it has all kinds of Wikipedia information which might come in handy while you're editing on Wikipedia: User:WinterSpw. And also remember to sign your comments on talk pages by putting four tildes at the end of your posts: ~~~~. Thanks again!
Yes the reference is approved, I'm amending your edit now. What advanced tools are you using currently? WinterSpw (talk) 16:55, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean by "not user-friendly"? Has Wikipedia been treating you bad? WinterSpw (talk) 17:10, 17 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: accuracy of death of emperor yazdegerd III

[edit]

I'm not sure I understand, but if you want to dispute a matter in an article for content inaccuracy or NPOV, I think you should talk in the talk page of the article that you are having a dispute with. I'm not really an expert at the history of the Sassanid Empire or anything, so I'm afraid I won't be of much help. I am only an expert at correcting grammar and revising articles. Thanks! actually, i did mention that issue in that talk page and of course there is no response so far. just that, i'm thinking if there is help around the forum, i would take the advantage to do so. now that i know what you are capable with something, so it's ok. nice talking to you.

The Sassanid Empire article says: "He was assassinated by a miller in Merv in late 651". The Brittanica article says: "A miller near Merv murdered the fugitive Yazdegerd for his purse." Frank Wong's article says: "Persian king Yazdgerd III was captured and beheaded by Arab invaders in what is today's Turkmenistan." It is most logical to combine these three statements together from all three sources to form an inferred statement if possible. If it seems contradictory, then I would stick to the Encyclopedia Brittanica source because it is much more reliable than the other article. WinterSpw (talk) 23:04, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Meet-up: Editors from Malaysia

[edit]

Hello! You might or might not have seen me around here as I've not been active in Wikipedia the past few months. Before leaving for NS, it was my intention to form a Malaysian user group. I'm still very much interested in forming the group. However, before forming the group, I would love to organize a meet-up between editors of the Malaysian editing community to test the waters and hear what you guys might have to say. To my knowledge, there has not been a Wikipedia meet-up in this country before. I don't mind organizing the meet-up but need to know if anyone is interested in joining the meet-up. So... please reply and let me know if you would be interested in joining a meet-up and your ideas/thoughts about a user group. Thank you.

Looking forward to hearing from you, Bejinhantalks 12:29, 15 December 2012 (UTC) (Message delivered by EdwardsBot (talk) 12:29, 15 December 2012 (UTC))[reply]
