Vanshika Parmar
Vanshika Parmar is an Indian award winning model and Himachal Tourism ambassador,[1] She came into limelight after becoming the first ever girl from Himachal Pradesh to win the title of Miss Earth India in 2022 at the age of 19, in an event which was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Delhi). [2] In a meeting with her the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu[3] said Vanshika was a source of inspiration for other girls and also asked her to work for women empowerment and collaborate with the State Government for the welfare of single girl child in Himachal Pradesh.[4]
Early life
[edit]Parmar belongs from village Tunhi,[5] In Nadaun, Himachal Pradesh, Her father Captain Susheel Kumar Parmar is an Air Force officer and mother Ritu Parmar is former beauty pageant winner.[6]
Career
[edit]Vanshika represented India at the G-20 presidency Commemoration held in Laddakh in 2022.[7][8]
Parmar was also the Tourism ambassador of Ghana for the year 2023, She also has worked for the state of Philippines to promote eco tourism [2]
