Wikipedia:Peer review/King–Crane Commission/archive1

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've listed this article for peer review because I believe this article warrants an upgrade in status.

In particular, I would like comments relating to the first half of the article. These are the newest editions and involve some sensitive topics. If you could examine all parts involving Zionism, I would appreciate it.

Hello. I've just posted an article for PR and I'll be happy to review this one in return. Hope to make a start soon. Thanks. No Great Shaker (talk) 19:18, 9 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have much time just now but an immediate comment must be made about the lead which does not conform to WP:LEAD. An article of this length should have a lead of two to three paragraphs only and there should be no single sentence paragraphs. The latter point also applies to the final section of the narrative. I've read the article and have noted the concern about sensitive topics including Zionism. The answer, I'm afraid, lies entirely in the need for research because there are vast amounts of unsourced information, some of which could easily be construed as OR. I've placed numerous citation requests throughout where narrative, and especially quotations, needs reference. As for upgrading the status, there are far too many issues to be resolved before that can be considered. A lot of work to be done. No Great Shaker (talk) 11:19, 10 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
