Wikipedia:Requests for feedback/2010 October 31

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Would like feedback on question non restaurant industry experts would have regarding this field, including whether there should be more on how to become or get into the field of being a restaurant consultant.

I have written an article about the North Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps, in Syracuse, NY. This organization is notable because it is widely known throughout New York State.

This is my first attempt at an article on Wikipedia, so I appreciate your feedback.

The person who created this webcomic is actually a good friend of mine. I hope other people will be able to add to it.

It's a good first draft (or stub) but I think you have a conflict of interest with the article's subject. It might be something you want to maybe take a look at. Chevymontecarlo

Thanks for giving the Brooks Surname DNA Project a wider audience. With 200 DNA submissions and growing, this is an excellent source to supplement traditional research on Brooks surname. I also added a link to my web site on my limited and somewhat dated review of Brooks DNA submissions (available for immediate access as it requires no ID / password to see content).

This article sounds like it belongs here. That aside, the references are unreliable see WP:Sources.--Ykraps (talk) 19:37, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone please review my new article; thanks!

The article needs more references to verify the statements in the article, but other than that I think it's a good start. Nice job! Chevymontecarlo 10:06, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I would like to create this page about this group of companies because it is a great group, and I was really surprised that wikipedia does not contain it, please help me in any way possible. Thank you

I have created an article about a public library in Ontario, Canada -- the Halton Hills Public Library. It contains facts about the location, scope and history of the library.

  • One of the biggest issues with the article as it currently exists, is that large portions of it appear to have been copied and pasted from elsewhere. It will need to be rewritten in your own words to avoid contravening copyright laws. Also the references need to be inline so that every quote, every statistic, every extraordinary claim and every paragraph can be easily traced back to its source. Don't give up though as it could be an interesting article. My advice would be to rewrite it first and then submit it for further review. --Ykraps (talk) 10:18, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
