The Illinois Midland Railway, hereinafter called the carrier, is a corporation of the State of Illinois. It owns and operates a single-track standard-gauge steam railroad extending from Millington, Ill., to Newark, Ill., a distance of 1.962 miles. It also owns 0.274 mile of yard tracks and sidings.


CORPORATE HISTORY

The carrier was incorporated in November, 1913, under the general laws of the State of Illinois.
