This course is offered to first semester honors students. It introduces them to interdisciplinary study, using ethics as a baseline for discussion and applying ideas in seminars on subjects concerning social policy. This semester we are focusing on coastal land loss for the seminars.
Students come with multidisciplinary interests. The final assignment will allow them to explore a subject of their own interest. Using WikiEdu as a platform, they will hone and demonstrate their research skills while learning about proper citation, strength of sources, and clear, succinct writing.
