Area not displaying - November 2012

[edit]

I wrote the following for Infobox amusement park, but I now see that it is also affecting Infobox water park as well, as demonstrated at Noah's Ark Water Park. It may be the same code is in other infoboxes in this series.

Could someone take a look at this to see why the Area is not displaying? It is not for the minor article I was working on Eldridge Park (using area_acre=), but a quick check showed it was not working on the template example page for Warner Bros. Movie World (using area=), nor a fairly important production article such as Cedar Point (also using area=). Thanks --Arg342 (talk) 10:54, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I worked out what was wrong. The code for the area parameter had an extra pipe character ("|") and thus was not displaying. I have placed an edit protected request for the amusement park infobox. The water park infobox should already be fixed. Themeparkgc  Talk  23:00, 14 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Attraction Infobox and auto-categorizing

[edit]

It looks like the attraction infobox was created as a "catch-all" for things that weren't roller coasters or water rides. It's mentioned that shows should be included, and since I'm here because this infobox is on Glow in the Dark Parade I'm assuming it's for parades, too.

Here's the problem: shows and parades aren't rides. The infobox automatically slaps on ride categories when it really should be using attraction categories. Or create a whole other infobox for shows and parades. 71.74.111.54 (talk) 01:46, 25 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
