Xuemin Lin

Xuemin Lin from the Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China[1] was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2016[2] for contributions to algorithmic paradigms for database technology.

Australia’s spy agency issued warnings to Australian universities about the risk to national security from Chinese government recruitment programs, including the Thousand Talents Plan which named Professor Lin.[3]
