- As previously changed this short description on "isotopes of lead", see this previous edit (Special:Diff/1239977309), this would make absolutely most sense to the vast majority of readers. Absolutiva (talk) 07:22, 1 October 2024 (UTC)
- (edit conflict × 1) In fact, such a short description was already removed by established user Peaceray from one element's list (Pb), on the grounds that it's not helpful to the average reader (I'd tend to agree). All Absolutiva did was to make it consistent for all of them, which is hardly vandalism. Double sharp (talk) 07:24, 1 October 2024 (UTC)

GnocchiFan has made 5,000+ edits this year alone including seven Good Articles. They make extensive use of WMF Library to improve sourcing and prose. I believe they are both an excellent editor and also communicator, evident at sensitive article topics at 1984 anti-Sikh riots and Gender and sexual minorities in the Ottoman Empire. In short, let's reduce NPP backlog by giving them auto-patrolled status. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 12:11, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
Seems to be an experienced content creator whose creations are no longer in need of input from NPP. They don't have a clean record of their articles being kept at AfD, but the last deletion was a year and half and 60 articles ago, and looking through a random sampling of their work since then doesn't reveal any major issues. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 04:50, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Meets minimum criteria, only one article out of many created has been deleted (in 2015). Mach61 23:06, 23 September 2024 (UTC)

Requesting access for updating census data of highly populated Indian villages in Kerala state and other human settlements on this planet in future. Pachu Kannan (talk) 10:12, 4 September 2024 (UTC)
I would like access to AWB to fix CheckWiki issues more efficiently than I currently do using WPCleaner. I also want to streamline typo fixing as part of WP:TYPO. I understand I have been denied it twice in the recent past, but I strongly believe that I am fit for getting the permission now, as I gained significantly more experience and done more constructive edits. Bunnypranav (talk) 14:01, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
I would like to use AWB's Checkwiki functionality to alter position of references with respect to punctuation and incorrect ISBNs as I am frequently revising pages that need reference issue support; use find and replace for music album title issues; and use AWB for assistance on creating and correcting items and links within categories of music genres, domestic flag information, and public parks. Thank you. Shotgunheist 💬 19:49, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
I'd like to get AWB to improve articles' layouts, correcting Spanish settlement infoboxes, changing IPA-va (deprecated) to IPA|ca-valencia, adding IPA, correcting links, etc. I had AWB rights in the past, however I stopped using Wikipedia due to COVID-19. Now I am fully recovered and would like to carry on improving things here and there. Thank you. Nuvolet (talk) 20:23, 11 September 2024 (UTC) Nuvolet (talk) 20:23, 11 September 2024 (UTC)

Requesting permission to use AWB, primarily for use in Canadian soccer article creation and citation cleanup. In particular, looking to fix dates/citation template/syntax/typos, scrape page titles, convert URL encoded characters, simplify links, and identify unnamed references that can be combined into named ones. My request originates from having performed a page move for disambiguation reasons (Gold Over America Tour → 2021 Gold Over America Tour). Asking for AWB access so that I can now turn the redirect into a disambiguation page and ensure that articles which link to the original name point to the correct page (and for potential similar actions in the future). Andrew11374265 (talk) 06:00, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
I would like to use this tool to work more the linting issues but as they are repetitive task, an automated tool will be big help. Aadirulez8 (talk) 22:43, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
I've been asked to create talk pages (linking to wikiprojects) for category pages which I have created. This would be easy with AWB (there are a lot of them). Perspicax (talk) 13:37, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
I have appealed my JWB ban, at WP:AN#User:Dicklyon JWB ban appeal, and will report back here when that gets decided. Dicklyon (talk) 19:33, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
I used to be a regular AWB user when working with Stubs and re-categorizations. It appears that my credentials have either expired or been revoked for some reason. Extended confirmed
Can i please have extended confirmed rights back. I lost it because one day when i had a little less than 500 edits, i made about 45-55 edits in one hour in order to get to 500 edits. Im new to this site and didn't know gaming edits was against the rules. Ever since i lost the extended confirmed thing, I've made hundreds of edits i think are constructive and i stopped vandalism a few times and have a much better understanding of the rules. extended confirmed rights HumansRightsIsCool (talk) 21:59, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
I would like to request extended confirmed rights. Although my account has existed for almost three years, and I've been editing wikipedia for longer without one, I do not edit a lot. Even on my home wikipedia I don't edit a lot. I mostly make minor edits (wiki gnoming) which fix small issues with wording, grammar or an incorrectly used template. For this reason, I won't be able to get the extended confirmed rights in the normal way - by waiting - for a long time. I am aware that requests like this usually get denided, but I'll be honest, the only thing the this 500 edits limit is doing is encouraging me to make useless edits ("gaming the system"). Of course I'll never do that, but it is frustrating when I want to fix an incorrectly used template, or other small issue, and can't (this is how I stumbled upon this topic in the first place). Anyway, I'm requesting this premission in order to give myself tools to help wikipedia. I solemnly swear to use it for good (however arbitrarily that may be defined) and not cause problems or trouble. P.S. If one looks at my contribution history, they may assume that I'm requesting this access in order to vote in this talk page. That is not the case, and if one looks just a bit earlier, they can find the real cause. TheBooker66 (talk) 17:54, 30 September 2024 (UTC)

Event coordinator
Reason for requesting event coordinator rights I am writing to request as Event Coordinator for Mini Hackathon as part of the 3rd Wikimedia Technology Summit (WTS 2024) that will help unblocking of an IP address range at IIIT Hyderabad campus. This event brings together developers, WikiClub students, and Wikimedians to create solutions for technical challenges in Wikimedia. By focusing on inclusivity and underrepresented languages, we bridge gaps through WikiClub engagement and mini hackathons, fostering lasting connections and driving innovation in open-source development. File mover
I am requesting file mover rights because I have experience in handling and maintaining various file types and I believe my contributions to several files and my various file rename requests as seen in the editing history here showcase my understanding of the naming policy for files. File names are often a decent part of my contributions with film and television-related articles, and carrying out these renames to satisfy naming conventions rather than having to request them every time a file needs to be renamed would prove beneficial in their up-keeping. New page reviewer
I would like to request my NPP temporary approval be made permanent. It is currently set to expire on October 3. I initially requested this level of access to learn more about Wikipedia as a whole and take part in the September backlog drive. With the extended access I have learned more about the use of the Twinkle gadget and have requested notification access to article alerts for WikiProjects I participate in. I have worked to increase my participation in AFD and AFC. I have also used the CSD process for articles that meet the speedy deletion guidelines. I have began use of the copyvio process for evaluating pages and started adding links to foreign language articles about the same subject. I have enjoyed the work I have done during this time and hope to be able to continue to help my fellow editors grow knowledge on Wikipedia. Demt1298 (talk) 13:09, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
Requesting for renewal of permissions after being given a two-month trial by Rosguill. Rosguill's feedback was very helpful, and this time around I have been very careful with reviewing new pages, making sure that the only ones that are reviewed are properly sourced, non-promotional articles, while problematic new pages are draftified or nominated for deletion with care. I often move poorly-titled pages to more appropriate titles, usually to make them more WP:CONCISE, specific, neutral, or to correct spelling and transliterations. I also revert undiscussed moves in line with WP:RMUM. I would greatly appreciate having the ability to manage this myself. Skitash (talk) 21:43, 30 September 2024 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer
I have reviewed the criteria for receiving this permission, and feel my contribution history demonstrates an adequate knowledge of creating, expanding, and patrolling articles in accordance to Wikipedia policies. Tvfunhouse (talk) 00:54, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
Hello hello, I have been a Wikipedian for well over 4 months now, and I feel that I have learned a great many things about the site in terms of editing, content, policies, and conduct that I could have never imagined beforehand. If given this right, I humbly commit to using it to the utmost competent and fair / legitimate nature that I possibly can. Thank you Aliy Dawut (talk) 02:52, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
I have been contributing to pages for three years now, with prior experience in patrolling edit filter log. I would like to get reviewer rights so I can contribute to Wikipedia in more ways than I am able to, presently, and help with the backlog. Since my last request in July, I've been making a track record of communicating collegially with other editors, in my talk page and elsewhere. I hope you'll consider me. Thank you. — hhypeboyh 💬 • ✏️ 23:11, 13 September 2024 (UTC)
I've been doing RC Patrolling (as a part of Anti-Vandalism) on Wikipedia for a while now, and I think that having the Pending Changes reviewer permission could be a good idea - there have been numerous instances involving a pending changes edit that I look at while looking through Special:RecentChanges that i wanted to accept/deny/etc, and i feel that this permission would be beneficial for my efficeincy. DM5Pedia 04:34, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
Hi! I believe that I'd be a good Pending Changes Reviewer, as I have a good amount of time on my hands, and can do monotonous tasks, like denying obvious vandalism, and the like. I meet, what I believe are all the requirements for this right, and humbly ask to receive this privilege. Thanks in advance! Legendbird (talk) 09:06, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
Reason for requesting pending changes reviewer rights: I am an Wikipedian for more than three years and part of various wikiprojects I need permission to expand my works on Wikipedia and also to observe Wikipedia articles. Cactinites (talk) 15:28, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
I have been reviewing semi-protected, extended-protected, and COI edit requests for about a month, and having the right to review pending changes would allow me to extend my reach in this topic. I have also been countering vandalism for 5 months, and I have the rollback right. — BerryForPerpetuity (talk) 07:50, 29 September 2024 (UTC)
I have been patrolling recent changes since 8 August 2024 and reverting edits there too. I would like to get the Pending Changes reviewers rights because I sometimes come across constructive edits and would like to accept them (if constructive). So it'll be good if I got those rights. I think I'll also be a good Pending changes reviewer too. PEPSI697 (💬 • 📝) 05:59, 30 September 2024 (UTC)

Rollback
I have been working to revert vandalism for some time now, mostly patrolling Recent changes. I have used Twinkle and RedWarn to revert vandalism and warn vandals. Rollback rights would make it easier for me to revert obvious vandalism. Thanks. Charliehdb (talk) 10:57, 28 September 2024 (UTC)
I have been reverting edits and warning users by patrolling recent changes for almost two months now. I have been using Twinkle to revert edits but manually warned users. I have consistently warned users most of the time after reverting their edits. I have been patrolling recent changes since 8 August 2024. I think getting Rollback rights would make it easier to revert edits or vandalism. Thank you. PEPSI697 (💬 • 📝) 05:49, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
Reason for requesting rollback rights: I have achieved 200 mainspace edits and I am ready to be on Wikipedia's Anti-Vandal task force! I can use tools like AntiVandal, and of course continue to use Twinkle and Ultraviolet. I love patrolling Recent Changes and cant wait to join this exciting opportunity!
