WWE Friday Night SmackDown! will not, I repeat, NOT be on The CW after September 12, 2008!! The only network that's trying to own the rights to that program is none other than MyNetworkTV. AdamDeanHall (talk) 20:11, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

WWE Raw

Well I have Cablevision and it says WWE Monday Night RAW 9:00PM-11:07PM. So I guess if it says 11:05PM for you then I guess its not confirmed and on TV Guide. NimiTize 01:48, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

I guess it does, and yes RAW does end exactly at 11:05 or close to, but it cant be a offically time because, its a "live" show. NimiTize 01:54, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Well I gotta get going RAW starting in a min, and I have to get off the comp, and might not get back on it for a month (On wikibreak vacation for mania). So keep up the good work improving those articles, Cheers! NimiTize 01:59, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

RE: SmackDown!

I'm not a huge fan of the move, but that's more because we don't have MyNetworkTV in my area. And you just know this can't be good for SmackDown!'s ratings. Jeff Silvers (talk) 02:31, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Infobox 2008

YOU CAN'T LET ME HAVE JUST ONE THING?!?!?! lol. I understand were yer are comin' from, but I figured it'd be easier to have a second option that alittle different, kinda like WCW and the WWF. But I'm lettin' anyone who has a good idea on how to make it better edit it. Who know's, be kinda nice to have a "Sandbox Infobox Template" that we can experement with and see what we can do to make it better. Just a thought. --Crash Underride 00:52, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

I wasn't mad. Did you not see the lol after it? I was just pickin' at ya! If you had noticed, the tone of the rest of that didn't match the first sentence. :) --Crash Underride 00:56, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Question from a new editor

There was an IP edit on Rob Van Dam that I reverted. I posted a level 1 warning on the talk page. The editor has since gone and deleted my warning. You seem to be a fairly experienced editor, do you have any ideas on how I should handle this?  Hazardous Matt  23:03, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Match types

TJ, just a quick question. Why are you only against labelling some matches and not others? You are against RAW EC and SD!/ECW EC match naming and also BunnyMania match naming, but you haven't gotten rid of Money in the bank. It is a simple ladder match and I haven't seen you making that argument yet, it is just strange that you are against some things but not others that are the same thing really. -GuffasBorgz7- 06:22, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Then what about the RAW EC or SD!/ECW EC matches? They had extra prizes for winning (title shot at WrestleMania XXIV) and you were against naming them that. -GuffasBorgz7- 19:39, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, but the RAW and SD ones were different from the usual ones. E.g. it was for a title shot rather than for the usual title belt. -GuffasBorgz7- 19:56, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Umaga vs. Batista

They're making a big thing of it being a RAW vs. SD match though, even advertising it as so, surely it should be mentioned? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sepmix (talkcontribs)

Why are you so determined on undermining my edits? At this moment there aren't any sources on the internet that say explicitly what Kim Kardashian's role a WM24 will be but that is because this week's episode of SmackDown! only finished about one hour ago (in the UK) and I don't think it has even aired in the USA yet. And on SD it did state that Kim Kardashian would be the hostess for WM24.AndTheCrowdGoesWild (talk) 00:49, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Meteos 2.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:Meteos 2.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 15:58, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Stop with the attacks already

Your recent post here: Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Professional_wrestling#The_usual_match_name_removal_by_editors_on_WrestleMania_XXIV simply isn't helpful to the discussion. If you don't have anything nice to say, perhaps you shouldn't even reply in the first place. Being uncivil isn't the solution. You've been warned enough about this, and you refuse to change. If I see anything else from now on, I will bring this up on an admin notice board. RobJ1981 (talk) 21:00, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Wrestlemania

With all due respect, you need to take a better look at the edit before you trump my work and rush to give me a welcome script. Someone pushed all the Wrestlemania dates and locations info clear to the bottom of the page for no real reason. I tried to fix it and clicked "undo" on the prvious edit to move it back, but the system didn't move it. I even tried to move it back myself when the undo didn't take. I made no major edit or screw up or anything that warranted a run-in fix and a dictation about how to do things. Just because I chose not to log in at work today doesn't mean I'm a complete idiot. Please look to make sure you're going after the right person before you charge in give people grief. You should have given this speech to the user who did this edit------> 13:19, 12 March 2008 140.106.192.1 (Talk) (27,074 bytes) (→WrestleMania dates and venues) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.55.81.2 (talkcontribs)

In response to your response -- I... don't care. You still chose to treat me like a stupid newbie for someone elses mistake. Yeah, maybe I didn't show what I was trying to do in haste, but you didn't double check until after you messaged me. Please, don't message me again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.55.81.2 (talkcontribs)

Match names

Money in the bank is a glorified "ladder match with a title shot". WrestleMania 24 has BunnyMania: which links to lumberjack (or jill, whichever they will call it), and Belfast Brawl is just another way for hardcore match/no DQ and (or) street fight. If those all remain, Battle of the Billionaires can link to hair vs hair. A few extra words does no harm to the article. Stop being a hypocrite, and stop the controlling already. Every article shouldn't be your own personal "perfect" view of how it is. Also, remember you are on revert patrole, so stop edit warring. I guess I have to make a new discussion on your attitude. WrestleMania XI IP vandal

If an IP has bounced to another IP to continue the vandalism, the likelihood of going back to the first IP is minimal, so an extended block won't prevent vandalism. If he keeps coming back at new addresses, however, the page can be protected - that will prevent any IP or newly-registered account from editing the page, so it would have to be a definite pattern before that would happen. —C.Fred (talk) 23:08, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

WrestleMania XXIV - Career Threatening Match

Hi TJ Spyke. If you have a problem with the way the career threatening match is listed, can you please discuss it on the talkpage instead of edit-warring with Mshake3. It does not do anyone any good edit-warring; I think a conclusion could easily come by discussing it at the talkpage. Regards, D.M.N. (talk) 18:43, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. In my view, edit-warring resolves nothing - it just makes the situation worser. D.M.N. (talk) 19:10, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Since I was away, I'm responding to this now: STOP edit warring. How many times must people tell you not to do it? One revert or several: it doesn't help things. Cleanup

Hey Spyke, I been so busy the past couple of months, I've had no time for WP. My talk page needs some cleanup. I was thinking, maybe you can fix my tag, and archive my page. I understand how busy you also are, but if you can do that I appreciate it. Thanks-- KBW1 17:04, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

my new userpage!

I have a secret userpage now!!!! I want you to find it! The only hint i will give you is this: Ys Omex Rsebu. unscramble it to find the name of a section on my page, in that section there will be a well hidden link, and every week i will move the link! it has a very confusing name that will make some people think it is not the right page to! I will give you a prize for finding it if you do! the Prize:THE STAMP OF ALTENHOɟén, and a DX Barnstar I am working on on my computer. I wish you good luck!!!--Altenhofen (talk) 02:36, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Confusing use of ARTICLEPAGENAME

Several months ago, you requested a move of It's a Wonderful World (video game) to The World Ends With You (now shown at Talk:The World Ends With You#Requested move). It took me a few minutes to figure this out because, when you requested the move, you used {{ARTICLEPAGENAME}} to cite the source article. Now that the article has been moved, your original post makes no sense, saying:

The World Ends With YouThe World Ends With You — …

Is there any reason you did it this way instead of spelling out the name of the article you expected to become the old title? I should think that most requests like this would result in the change of the article name, making this practice nonsensical in all cases except where the request fails. If there's some policy or practice that recommends using ARTICLEPAGENAME instead of the current article name, I'd like to find it and fix it. Thanks for any info you can provide. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 07:29, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Final Fantasy III.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Final Fantasy III.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Where have you been man? I haven't seen you around in a while. I hope you're doing alright. When will you be back? --UnquestionableTruth-- 11:13, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

I don't believe we should place win behind Booker T defeated Joe. When on Impact Cornette never said he defeated Joe. He said give the title back to the real champion. Which means Booker T never won the title. He just took it.--WillC 19:22, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

This is a little different than the Triple Threat at Sacrifice and the King of the mountain at Slammiversary 2006, Booker T was never called the winner. Sharmell counted the pin, Sting interfered, Joe technically got counted out, Booker T did too, they both technically got DQ'ed. All TNA ever said was he left with the belt and he didn't win. They never have called a winner. It would be better to place in that it was a no contest. Since that was what TNA technically said.--WillC 18:43, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Re: Copy and paste

Well, I had no idea how to do it. No one replied so I just did it myself.

Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Archive 53#Wrestle War

Why'd you change it? RandySavageFTW (talk) 16:52, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

It should be WrestleWar. Read the comments on this. RandySavageFTW (talk) 17:00, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

I would bring it up there again, and if no one replies after 1 week request a move at WP:RM (which will bring it up for general discussion). It will end up having to go to WP:RM anyways if you think it should be moved, but I would see what the wrestling community here thinks first. TJ Spyke 17:06, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Hey TJ

Nice to see you back! Just wanted to let you know that there currently is a survey up at Talk:TNA World Heavyweight Championship#Inclusion of Cage and Angle's pre-Slammiversary reigns resulting from May 13 stripping of NWA titles. We're just trying to settle this once and for all. Welcome back btw. --UnquestionableTruth-- 19:24, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

What's up?

Good to have you back. I know the table format sucks, but the FA article reviewers (and I say this with all due respect to them) have a table fetish. Hopefully we can at least put a "how the match was won" column into the table.

Just thought I'd update you on other things that went down when you were gone. You might want to re-read WP:PW/MOS, particularly the sources, In wrestling and Championships and Accomplishments guidelines.

Also, you might want to update your user page. You were 21 when I first joined a year and a half ago. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 16:32, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

Sure. Yeah, that column would be nice, but some people think it would stretch the table too much or something. Gavyn Sykes (talk) 16:52, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
